Welcome
-
Maurice Paykel Centre is a day care and support facility for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. We cultivate a strong family orientated environment, where we have individual and group daily activities. The programmes reflect a Maori and multi-cultural perspective where appropriate.
-
We provide a centre where the clients are cared for with patience, dignity and respect, while still encouraging independence in a supportive environment.
-
Twice weekly trips out in the van for community integration and participation.
-
A positive attitude towards Health & Safety compliance, to minimise risk of incidents and accidents.
-
We provide physiotherapy and hydrotherapy programmes, set by the MPC physiotherapist, and are followed on a daily basis.

The Centre provides a stimulating blend of sensory, creative and physical classes during the day. The programme is developed to suit individual capabilities and personal requirements.
